Q.  Is ChromaDex an FDA certified facility?

A.  No. There is no such thing as an FDA "certified", "accredited", or "regulated" facility.  There are “FDA registered” facilities, however.  Based on the type of work that ChromaDex™ performs, it is not necessary for us to be "FDA registered".

Q.  Can ChromaDex™ assist clients with ISO 9000 registration?

A.  Yes, ChromaDex™ can help with many aspects of testing that will help clients in attaining their ISO 9000 or GMP registrations.

Q.  What ChromaDex™ training programs are available?

A.  ChromaDex™ provides training programs presented in partnership with AOAC.  Currently we offer a 3-day training course titled “Single Lab Validation”.  If you would like more information on this, you can contact either AOAC at 301-924-7077 or ChromaDex™ customer service at 949-419-0288.  You can also ask about having us design any form of analytical chemistry training program to suit your company's needs.

Q.  Is ChromaDex™ a botanicals/nutraceuticals Certification Body?

A.  No, ChromaDex™ is an independent reference standards and contract analytical services provider.  We do not certify nor endorse any product available to the public.  ChromaDex™ only supplies rigorous scientific analytical facts concerning those products that are available to the public.  It is up to all our clients to interpret the data that we provide them with in a way that is clear and helpful to others.

Q.  Does ChromaDex™ have offices or laboratories in Europe?

A.  ChromaDex™ does not have laboratories in Europe. We are currently represented by LGC Promochem within Europe and many of the Eastern European states.  LGC has an extensive network of offices and laboratories in this region and can be located on the international page or by visiting their website.
