Robert Fried is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ChromaDex, a Nasdaq-listed, global bioscience company devoted to cellular health and improving the way people age. He has served as a director of the Company since 2015. Mr. Fried is a seasoned CEO, entrepreneur, and enterprise builder with a track record for driving transformational growth across a variety of industries. He was the Executive Vice President in charge of production at Columbia Pictures and the CEO of Savoy Pictures. Mr. Fried has produced dozens of films including Godzilla, Rudy, The Boondock Saints, Collateral, and So I Married an Axe Murderer, and has won both an Academy Award and an Emmy Award for his work. Beginning in 2007, Mr. Fried was the founder and CEO of the subscription streaming service Feeln, which was acquired by Hallmark Cards in 2012 and rebranded as Hallmark Movies Now.
Mr. Fried is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition and holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
